As the Coronavirus spreads, many travelers have been forced to alter or cancel their plans. In response, many services are temporarily relaxing their change & cancellation policies, by waiving change fees, providing vouchers, or expanding their cancellation windows.
We’ll keep this info as up-do-date as we are able. Community contributions are welcome – just click the edit button / create a Pull Request. Please cite your sources so we can verify information as it comes in.
Airlines
- Alaska Airlines - most change and cancellation fees waived (within travel window)
- Allegiant Air - travel credit valid for 1 year
- American Airlines - one free change, or cancel and use the value for future travel
- Delta Air Lines - most change fees waived (within travel window)
- Frontier Airlines - change or cancel without fees through April 30
- Hawaiian Airlines - one-time waiver of change fees for most regions
- JetBlue - fees suspended, travel credit good for 1 year
- Southwest Airlines - Southwest Airlines never charges a fee to change or cancel a flight
- Spirit Airlines - 6-month voucher
- United Airlines - fees waived for original travel dates of March 9 to April 30
